The three gentlemen on my left are senior software engineer Bob, system architect Albert, and test engineer William. Today, they will mainly have a technical exchange with you. Your English name is Steven, right? Now, please introduce yourself in English within 3 minutes.”
I was born in a small but warm city. I graduated from Hunan University of Science and Technology, majoring in Computer Science. During my study, I have a solid foundation in programming and related theories. After graduation, I worked as a teacher in a school, where I taught computer courses and continuously improved my knowledge system. Although my work experience in the enterprise is not very rich, I have interned at Xiang Computer Company. There, I got hands - on experience in real - world projects. I am full of confidence in this job because I am eager to apply my knowledge in a professional enterprise environment and continuously improve my technical ability. I believe I can make valuable contributions to the team.”
刚介绍完,格子衫的 Bob眼神瞬间锐利起来,直勾勾地盯着我,抛出问题:“Please describe the process of designing a program in C language that accumulates from 1 to 100.”
In C language, we can use a loop structure to solve this problem. For example, we can use a for loop. The code would be like this:
#include <stdio.h>int main(){ int sum = 0; for (int i = 1; i <= 100; i++){ sum += i;} printf(“The sum from 1 to 100 is:%d\n“, sum); return 0;}
This for loop initializes a variable i as 1, and as long as i is less than or equal to 100, it will execute the loop body, adding the value of i to the sum variable in each iteration. Finally, the result is printed out.”
William嘴角勾起一抹不易察觉的微笑,语气带着些许挑衅:“How do you usually test your own program?”
我心中一紧,迅速在脑海中梳理平时 debug的过程,努力让自己的声音平稳:“When I test my program, first, I will check the input and output. I will prepare a variety of test data, including normal data, boundary data, and abnormal data, to ensure that the program can handle different situations correctly. Then, I will use debugging tools. For example, in many programming environments, there are built - in debuggers. I can set breakpoints at key positions in the code, step through the code line by line, and observe the changes of variables to find out where the problem occurs. Also, I will add some print statements in the code to output the intermediate results during the program execution process, which helps me understand the program's running logic and locate errors.”
最后,自然卷发的 Albert向前倾了倾身子,目光如炬:“Tell me about your understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite.”
我暗自庆幸自己对网络知识有所了解,定了定神,回答道:“The TCP/IP protocol suite is a set of communication protocols used in the Internet. It can be understood in combination with the OSI reference model. Compared with the seven - layer structure of the OSI model, TCP/IP is more concise. At the application layer, there are many common protocols. For example, DNS (Domain Name System) is used to resolve domain names into IP addresses, which is like a phone book for the Internet, allowing us to access websites through easy - to - remember domain names instead of complex IP addresses. SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is used for sending emails, which defines the rules for email transmission between different mail servers. At the transport layer, TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) provides reliable, connection - oriented data transmission. It ensures that data is sent in order and without loss through mechanisms such as sequence numbers, acknowledgments, and retransmissions. UDP (User Datagram Protocol), on the other hand, is a connectionless protocol, which is faster but less reliable, suitable for applications that require quick data transmission, such as video streaming and online gaming. The network layer uses IP (Internet Protocol) to handle the addressing and routing of data packets, enabling data to be transmitted across different networks.”
本以为面试就此结束,却不料 Jennifer突然发问:“How do you collaborate with colleagues in your daily work?”
“During my internship at Xiang Computer Company, I had the opportunity to collaborate with many colleagues. For example, I assisted Engineer Wang in organizing development documents. We would have regular meetings to discuss the progress and structure of the documents. I listened carefully to his opinions and suggestions, and combined my own understanding to complete the organization work efficiently. Also, I helped Engineer Li with system installation and testing. We divided the work according to our respective strengths. I was responsible for some basic installation steps and initial testing, and he was in charge of more complex configuration and in - depth testing. We kept in close communication during the process, reported problems in a timely manner, and jointly discussed solutions. Through these experiences, I learned the importance of communication, division of labor, and cooperation in a team.”
Jennifer听完,满意地点点头,微笑着说:“You can go back to the reception room and wait. We will give you a reply later.”
